About

Welcome!

Hello everyone! I’m Ariel – a wife and mommy with a love for Jesus, an affinity for dark chocolate, and a passion for spreading joy in all corners of life.
Seasoned with Sunshine is a food and lifestyle blog dedicated to providing delicious plant-based recipes, as well as practical content for moms desiring to raise a happy, healthy family.

Keep reading to discover more about our focus!

Food

Our kitchen was the center of many of my first and best childhood memories. As a result, I inherited my mother’s love for cooking at an early age. Consequently, when I became a stay-at-home mom after the birth of our daughter, I knew that I wanted to share that joy and passion with others.

My goal is to provide easy, healthy, and delicious recipes that anyone can make and enjoy. Whether you’re a die-hard vegan, just experimenting with plant-based food, or loyal to your meat and potatoes, I have something for you!

While we are not 100% vegan (we do use honey), we strongly believe that the human body thrives on a healthy, wholistic, plant-based diet. In addition, most of our recipes are nut-free due to my husband’s nut allergy. I like to joke that “The only nuts in the kitchen are us!”

Family and Lifestyle

Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be a wife and mother more than anything else. While other aspirations came and went, it was the only one that stuck from childhood through college.  When my dream came true, I not only realized how wonderful it is, but how challenging it can be at times.

My mother always taught us the importance of creating a beautiful and inviting home for our families. In our family and lifestyle section I want to take you with me on my journey as I discover just how to make that a reality. I will share practical tips including how to have a more organized home, specific baby products that I have used and love, encouragement for busy moms, and much more!

Thank you!

Thank you for joining me on this journey. May your day be seasoned with sunshine!
