Sweet and Salty Roasted Nuts

These sweet and salty roasted nuts have less fat and sugar than the traditional ones, but without sacrificing any flavor! Thay’re so yummy, you’ll be reaching for them again and again.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups nuts (pecans, walnuts, cashews, etc)
  • 2 Tbsp vegan butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp cane sugar
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350º. Place nuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Drizzle vegan butter, sugar, maple syrup, and salt over nuts. Stir well to combine.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown, stirring at the halfway point.
  4. Remove from oven, stir once more, and let cool at room temperature. The nuts will crisp as they cool.
  5. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 weeks. These make great holiday gifts!
